For three decades, we have maintained long-term commitments to local development, healthcare, and education, ensuring people have access to the resources they need to thrive.
As the Covid-19 pandemic introduced unprecedented challenges to healthcare the world-over, we looked to offer our support. The S Alam Group supplied essential medical equipment and support to hospitals across Bangladesh, including ICU ventilators, high-flow nasal cannulas (oxygen support), PPEs, air conditioning units, sample collection booths, and more.
When disaster struck Chattogram in 2020, thousands of families were cut off from aid and in need of emergency relief assistance.
In the face of this tragedy, S. Alam Group worked to ensure that over 110,000 families were provided with the necessary assistance, including essential food packages, essentials and medical support.
With a rapidly developing world where complex challenges require new technologies and novel solutions, we set out to establish a place where young students could succeed. The S Alam Collegiate School and College at Patiya, Chattogram was created with state of the art modern facilities to prepare students for success in a constantly changing world.
Over the past several years, our contributions have ensured that access to education remains free or at nominal cost.
Prior to taking the step to broaden educational access, our family has seen three decades of commitment to education through support to various medical and nursing colleges. In addition, we provided funding for the founding of the International Islamic University as well as Premier University.
